Wonders of Wildlife is currently hiring for an Animal Keeper Level 1 or 2.

- What are we looking for in our next Animal Keeper?
- For a level 1 keeper we are looking for someone with at least a three month internship, and a level 2 we are looking for someone with 4 years of experience.
- Keepers need to have worked with a mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and insects.
- Our animal care teams work closely with their curatorial team, water quality and animal wellness teams, life support systems, and more to ensure the safety and wellness of our animals. Being able to work well on a team is crucuial.
- For both levels we require a bachelor's degree in biology or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be taken into consideration.
Job Requirements:
- Requires a high degree of concentration and attention to the needs of the collection.
- Must have precise record keeping and the ability to follow and convey written and verbal instructions.
- Must possess the analytical skills necessary to trouble shoot mechanical issues and animal behavioral issues.
- Valid Missouri driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.

Salary
